Ernie Claude McClintock

As I young girl from Harlem my dream was to study acting and become a successful actor, my mother did not approve or support me so a few times a week I would sneak over to Ernie McClintock theater workshop on 127 St. In Harlem I watched and learned as the community partisapated in groups My mom never consented but I thank Ernie for letting me stand by the door and watch and learn from his brilliance and excellence! Rest in peace

Uncle Ernie did what he loved. A pure example that you can use your talents to positively impact the lives of others.

Ernie will always be in my heart. I gained a lot of confidence because of his teaching. He was an excellent teacher and will always be remembered by his students.

I just want to remind all of Ernie's family that they are not missing him alone. Ernie is in my thoughts very often, and he always will be. He made a wonderful difference in my life personally and professionally. The work he did lives on through me and many others who were taught by him. Our achievements and our work is his legacy. God bless you.

Ernie you'll be forever missed but never forgotten...Thanks for being such an understanding director, mentor and most importantly friend. By the way, i'll be auditioning for an upcoming ep. of West Wing and I know that you'll be there in spirit as always...Love You and Miss You.
