Ervin M. Schwartz

Ervin M. Schwartz, 78, passed away on September 21, 2021, at home of natural causes. He was born on March 26,1943, in Nappanee, IN to Milo and Edna (Chupp) Schwartz. On May 10,1973 he married Carol Sue Miller in Nappanee. Mr. Schwartz was a retired carpenter and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. Ervin is survived by his wife, Carol, along with six children: Kathy (Merle) Chupp, Etna Green, Ricky (Lori) Schwartz, Michael (Pauline) Schwartz, both of Bremen, Wayne (Mary Jo) Schwartz, Nappanee; Jason (Vera) Schwartz, Warsaw, John Dale (Dorothy) Schwartz, Nappanee; 31 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;  4 brothers, Allen (Mary Ellen) Schwartz, Milford; Lavern (Carolyn) Schwartz, Nappanee; Jerry (Betty) Schwartz, Shipshewana; Earl (Marietta) Schwartz, Nappanee; and 4 sisters, Ruby, Wilma, Nancy Schwartz, all of Nappanee, and Linda (David) Miller, Bremen. He is proceeded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Mary, Alma, Carolyn Schwartz; 2 granddaughters, Julia and Martha Chupp. Visitation will be held after 3 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021 and all-day Thursday, September 23rd at the family residence, 12173 N 1000 W Nappanee. Funeral Services will be Friday Sept. 24th at 9:30 am also at the family residence with Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will be at Weldy Cemetery. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.
