I was profoundly saddened to read about Al's death! He provided inspirational guidance to me when we worked together at Tektronix, and Planar. I am grateful that I was able to apply his wisdom throughout my professional career.

Al was a good friend in high school,but we kinda drifted apart soon after. I guess that moves us nearer to the end of the road where it all ends. God bless you all and I hope to see you all in heaven for eternal happiness . J Drummond

We have so many fond memories of him, especially his quick wit, sense of humor and brilliance on thousands of varied topics. Al deeply cared and stood up for people.He always tried to do the right thing for the business and the people. I miss his Monday morning staff meetings where he shared his travels, his projects, his latest shipment from E-Bay, a new book and even his love of the movie...
