Esther (she told me to call her that the first time I met her in 1994) was one of my favorite neighbors. I enjoyed living next door to her on Story Street and our visits and many laughs. I was just talking about "Esther's tree" this week. She had the most beatiful tree in her front yard and it had the most wonderful colors in the fall. We all know Esther is home now and I look forward to seeing her again. She was a blessing to know and I am so glad she was my friend.

Dad was always over whenever she needed any carpenter work done. She always had a dessert to share with company! The wonderful visits at Lexington. She cherished the...

Aunt Esther was an amazing woman of strong faith and strong character. She never hesitated to share her faith in Jesus and proclaim his goodness. She helped make this life a little brighter for all the lives she touched, shared and loved. We'll miss you!

It was such a wonderful experience getting to know Esther. She was a remarkable, gifted woman. I will miss seeing her; she will live on in her children and grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. With sympathy and God's blessings.
