To the Townsend Family,
I am so sorry hear of your loss. Do take care.

I am so sorry to hear of Ethan's death.
"The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief -
But the pain of grief
Is only a shadow
When compared with the pain
Of never risking love."
(Hilary Stanton Zunin)
Our thoughts are with you. Your community grieves with you.

Dr. Townsend and family,
Dean and I are so sorry for your loss, you have taken such good care of Dean during and after his surgery, we had no idea you lost your son when they rescheduled Deans appt. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I have known Ethan for many years, from the soccer fields to the classroom, and have always greatly respected his intelligence and kindness. He truly was a special person, and I will always admire the life he lived. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Though I didn't know Ethan, I went to school with his father Hal. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Ethan truly was a brilliant young man who had much, yet, to add to this world.

Ethan was by far the smartest guy I knew, and one of the most friendly to boot. In school I remember him as always being so genuine in everything he did and said. It stuns me that one of our best can be gone so soon.

I am so sorry to hear for your tragic loss. I want you to know that your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. Your family is truly amazing and I am fortunate that I had the opportunity to meet Ethan. His bright smile brought joy to so many peoples lives.

Dear Scooter and Mary,
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your son. It's every parent's nightmare. He had so much to give and it's all been cut so tragically short. Scooter, you've always spoken so highly of your family and have been so proud of your children. You gave Ethan the greatest gift parents can give - your son knew he was loved, truly and deeply. Yours and Mary's love will help your daughter deal with all of this...this must be so hard for her too. My heart is weeping...

He is a part of all he has met. He will always be with us and missed greatly.

With love,
Athena Lawrence
