Not sure what to say?

Deborah, Daniel, and all your families, I am so sorry to have waited this long to post a tribute to your mother. I lost my own mother (who was a little over a year older than your mom) six days after your mom passed. Etta was my therapist (through her private practice) for many years before she left town to be with Bill, and resumed when she returned to Bakersfield, and continued until she had to stop due to her health issue. I was her last client. You have been blessed with having her...

My sincerest condolences to Debbie and the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Etta through Debbie. Lovely to read about her travels, passions and accomplishments. Kern County is a better place because of Etta.

Heartfelt condolences to all of Etta´s loved ones. She was a very special human, and will be greatly missed.

Etta~ I´ll never forget the day (Sunday 1996ish) when she & LeaAnn walked by the salon & stopped in. I was almost never there on a Sunday, but this day, I was meant to meet Etta. A ray of sunshine, full of encouragement & just so positive. Even through her self proclaimed "challenges" she was hopeful & practical. I´ll never forget this lovely lady, who enriched my life in many ways. I will miss Etta & loved her dearly.

Dear Etta, Although you mostly worked and had a friendship with my husband Luis, your kindness always reached me. Sending me school related articles and countless papers to use with my students. Your passion for teaching touched my soul. You will be missed. Love

Dear sweet Etta, I´m so blessed to have known you . You have to be the kindest and wisest person I have ever known .your beautiful soul shined so bright and was a beacon of hope and joy for so many . You are an irreplaceable treasure in this world . I´m a better person for having you as an example of what´s ok and "not ok "and how you handled your life´s "challenges" . You will always be an inspiration and an example on how to be a better person . Thank you for the gift of you .

Though I didn't know Ms. Robin, I felt compelled to comment on her obituary. What a unique pleasure to read someone's accounting of their own life.
