I worked with Atty Berman at Kamberg, Berman PC from 1988 to 1992. Left the firm and moved on with my life. How weird is if that I just thought of looking him up on the Internet tonight (10/14/15), only to read about his sad demise. He was a wonderful employer and I have very fond memories of him. I worked with the firm through trying financial times, but he was always generous and truly wanted to do the best by his employees. I will always have fond memories of him. I was a paralegal at KB&H from 1973-1977 while attending the evening division of WNEC Law School. EBB was a profound influence on me and I have employed many of the things I learned from him throughout my career as a lawyer. Rest in Peace, EBB.

I was saddened when I heard of Gene's passing. I knew Gene for many years from when I worked at the District Court in Spfld. (1953-1955) and got to know him better when I was a legal secretary at 31 Elm St. He was a great gentleman and will be greatly missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Patricia, Taylor and all of Gene's family. I was an associate at Kamberg, Berman PC from 1992-1995. Gene taught me so much about the practice of law and to enjoy life. Several weeks ago Gene posted on Legacy.com his condolences for the recent loss of my mother. That generated email correspondence between us, and ultimately, I stopped by for a lovely visit just 4 weeks ago. I am so glad that I was able to see him and talk about the days at Kamberg, Berman.

I AM LONG SINCE RETIRED AS SENIOR PARTNER OF APPLETON, KUBICEK, RICE AND MITCHELL. I KNEW AND REMEMBER WELL GENE BERMAN FROM MY EARLIER DAYS AND THROUGHOUT YEARS OF PRACTICE IN SPRINGFIELD.

WE LABORED IN DIFFERANT AREAS OF LAW, BUT LIKE MANY, WE OLDER ATTORNEYS HELD A HIGH REGARD FOR GENE AND HIS COMPETENCY AS A LAWYER. HE WAS HIGHLY RESPECTED IN OUR LEGAL COMMUNITY AND IS A PROFOUND LOSS TO OUR PROFESSION.

My deepest sympathy to Pat And Gene family. I only new Gene for about a year. He was a special man. I am glad I got to know a special man like Gene. He will be missed. The world lost a great man and a unique gentleman.

I couldn't resist reminding Bruce of the time your father came to my parents' house on Lynnwood Drive and scored points for the First Amendment by arguing about the Woodstock Album and the Fish Cheer with them.
