What a great man. His service to Pi Sigma Epsilon at UGA created an environment where kids like myself could experience the real world as we prepared for our launch. We met at an executive dinner in Atlanta; that first night we talked for at least a couple of hours after dinner was over, as if we were old friends. Through thousands of emails and not nearly enough visits, we created a lasting bond of incredible friendship. He molded me into a man that he could be proud of today. Big Hugs for you Mr. C., from your favorite Dawg. RIP... - Michael Williams.

Dear Martha and Family,
We were saddened to hear about Gene's passing. I have much to remember him for in our Scouting experiences when we were both involved in advancement. We used to sit around the campfire at night and relate to the scouts about some of our experiences and he urged each of them to advance to the rank of Eagle. He gave much of his time to the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and you could always depend on Gene to do a job well done. Thank you, Gene, and may the Lord's blessings continue to bless and praise your family with His love and grace.
