I went all through school with Eugene from the 1st grade on. I enjoyed seeing and visiting with him at all our 1962 Class Reunions.

I grew up next to Gene in stockton. I always hung out with his grandkids. Im 23 & even though he was my neighbor, he felt more like an uncle! He was my dads friend on the block & always said hello. I remember him being at my father rosary, I'll be at yours gene!! Thank you for being my neighbor!

I went through school with Eugene. I was Confirmed with Gene at St Paul's Lutheran
Church. We played football at Lodi High School. Gene was always a nice guy smiling all the time. I was happy to read that he had a wonderful family and a great life. he certainly was a special person.

I first met Gene through his wife, Minnie, when she and I both taught music for the Stockton Unified School District. Gene was a constant presence. His was always there to lend a hand-helping to move chairs and music stands, passing out programs, sharing a laugh. He talked a lot, but listened even more.
In retirement he continued to serve. He would mow lawns for the elderly. He organized honor guards for departed American Legion members. He ushered at concerts.
