Condolences to Veryl. We graduated from Valders High in 1956. Jerome (Boomer) had Charley for baseball coach and shop teacher. We both had him for Drivers Ed and will always remember him with happy times.

Condolences to Veryl & the Hein boys. The Lutze family moved into the house across the street from your home in 1961. During our childhood, we played together and I got to know Charley & Veryl. Wonderful people. As an adult, we owned homes in Charley's back yard and then right next door to them. Even though I didn't go to Valders High, your dad was my Driver's Ed. instructor. Great man, great teacher, great sense of humor, great heart, great human being. What more can you ask for in a man? RIP Mr. Hein.

As my drivers education teacher he would say “briskly through the intersection”. When I taught my daughter to drive I would tell her the same thing. She now tells her sons the same thing. His words will live on forever. Good memories of a truly nice man!

Mr. Hein was my Driver's Ed instructor in 1978 and my advanced metal class instructor in 1980 My sympathy to the family, most of all Mrs Hein who also was a teacher at Valders High School
