Eugene David Hill

My condolences to Eugene´s family I graduated with gene in 1965 He was a good friend. He was the smartest kid I knew. I helped him through mechanical drawing course and he introduced me to literature. I last saw him at Chelsea Piers at our 30th reunion and was hoping to see him at our upcoming 60th Richard Lehrer DDS

Dear Heidi. I've been retired from MHC for a long time, and have dropped out of touch with many faculty friends and families. Pleasant past contacts wth Gene, you, and his mother are stilll recalled. You have my regrets at his loss. With sympathy, Bob Robertson

My sincere sympathy at Gene's passing. I lived next to Gene on Park Street when I first arrived at Mount Holyoke in 1982. His was the first desktop computer that I saw when he proudly invited me in to take a look. His erudition and forthrightness added special dimensions to the faculty community that are missed.
