Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to the Merkert family it is a great loss.May God help you in your sorrow.

Karen Swinderman Merkert

My deepest condolences to the entire Merkert and Dupre families. I was in Mr. Merkert's employ from 1970 thru 1985 and he was one of the most personable gentlemen
I had ever met.

Rest in peace Uncle Eugene, sorry I never got to know you, but I enjoyed speaking with you on the phone.

Take Care James N. Merkert

Tuyet and E. j, please accept our condolences and pass it on to the rest of the family. Sorry we did not get down to se you all lately. We will keep you in our prayers. Hope to see you soon.

Joe and Linda Robertson

Gene was a true gentlemen, he always had time to chat with all of his people, from all of the ranks at Food Enterprises, whether you were an exec. or the "Mail Room" he always had time for you, a great gentleman, I had the pleasure to work with him for thirty years at F.E. before it came Merkert Enterprises. May he rest in peace, God Bless him and his family.

Our sincere condolences to the Merkert and Dupre family. We have many fond memories of Gene and our former associates at Merkert Enterprises. God Bless you.

Our condolences go out to the Merkert family during this tough time. My wife Linda & I both worked for Mr.Merkert in Canton, MA in the 1990's. We both greatly appreciate all he did for us during that time. He will be sadly missed

May God keep him in a safe place. He was a special person who went out of his way to introduce himself to anyone that worked at Merkert which I made a big impression on me when I worked there. Nice man.

If it weren't for Mr. Merkert, I would never of had a job at "Merkert Enterprises" and for that, I thank him! May he rest in peace and may he watch over his wife and son.
