Not sure what to say?

Words can not express the way I feel about the lost of such a friend. I would wake up to the sound of my phone ringing in the we hours of the morning and on the other end is Mr. Moore saying, "wake up, what are you doing", and I'll response, "sleeping what you think" and then he'll say, "your phone man that's what I be talking about". Well, Mr. Moore answered his call from the Lord and now he is talking his rest. Dea. and Mrs. Moore we can be assured that one day we will see that sweet smile...

Rest in peace Eugene or as I called you "Mr Mo" you will be missed.....

Our condolences to the Moore family. We were deeply saddened to learn of the death of our childhood friend. We attended St Mary's Catholic School with Eugene and remember him as being a kind, fun loving and gentle soul. His bright smile and warm personality will be missied.

Deacon Eugene and Betty~
Praying for peace and strength as you go through this time of grieving the loss of your son
Vivian Tootle DeVoe,
Karen and Kenneth's mother.

It has taken me this long to express the grief I am experiencing since learning of "Minute's" passing. I can not say anything any different than the many accolades already stated for such a kind and gentle spirit. Gene was younger than us, but he was still well known in Carver Village, and even though I had not seen nor spoke to him since graduating Jenkins in 1977 we reunited earlier last year and he was still the same gentle giant he was as a kid. What I take away from this is the love...

Rest in peace. Minute. Harold

One of the nicest "Gentlemen" I have ever known so sorry to hear this. After growing up in Carver Village, we became reacquainted again when we became neighbors in that very same neighborhood. And I must say "still a gentlemen" RIP "Minute" May GOD bring Comfort to the Family

To the Moore Family,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in your loss. I am trusting that God will grant you comfort and peace in the midst of your storm. Words cannot express the hurt in losing a chidhood friend. My family were the Reid's and we lived on the corner of Googe Street (1001). Although, many years have passed since I have seen Minute,I can recall fond childhood memories. Keeping you always in my prayers,
Min. Carol Johnson Burnett and Family (HVJ C/O "82")

Eugene, I'm going to miss my phone ringing early in the morning with your voice on the other end. R.I.P Eugene.
