Not sure what to say?

I have often talked about Mr. Perry and his class on the U.S. Constitution. He was an outstanding Teacher, who expected you to know the subject. Always helpful and willing to answer a question. I loved the subject, and still have my copy he gave me. Later I served as an U.S. Army Officer, 18th Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, Gulf War. I am not surprised to learn he served during the Korean War, because it was obvious that he too loved his Country, and knew what the U.S. Constitution stood...

I just learned of Mr Perry's passing. He was one of my favorite teachers in school who encouraged my interest in a subject I disliked. He was a great teacher and the world was made better by his presence and passion for his craft. My condolences to your family.

Gene Perry was A good friend while we taught together at Whitehall High School. I shall miss him. My condolences to his family.

I was sorry to hear about Mr. Perry's passing. Offer my condolences to his family for their loss. I hope they have strength to deal with their loss and move on. He was a fine person and will be greatly missed.

I just heard of Mr Perry's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I had him for AP history my senior year. He is the lone teacher that prepared me for college and all of the essay writing that is required. He was a great teacher. I absolutely loved him.
At the end of the school year, we had a party in his class...called it Perry Fest. I still have the picture of all of us, along with Mr Perry, in front of the big Perry Fest sign we made and hung in the hallway.
RIP Mr. Perry! ...

When you look back on life growing up and going to school, you remember the good teachers that have impacted your life. Mr. Perry is one of those fine teachers that had the respect from other colleagues and students. His legacy as a wonderful, kind and caring teacher of history will never be forgotten.

May God welcome him into his new home of eternal life.

As a high school student, Mr. Perry helped distill my love of history. I had him for several classes, and he definitely made an impact on me. My current life as a museum professional can be linked to inspiration provided by Mr. Perry. I still think of him after these many years. He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.
