I am very saddened... Bill Anderson just let me know. I don't know if I can make it over, but will try for Gene's memorial. He was a great person, and my first bodybuilding partner. I was "Little Girl", and he was "Euge".... Even years after I left Spokane, he would call and we would wish each other Happy Birthday(!)... Life is Precious... Love and Hugs to Everyone.... I remember Geno as a strong quiet but funny man. He was a great athlete and I will always remember playing football with him on the weekends and knowing that you could never tackle him from the front in an open field and never catch him if he got by you. Three words we all used to describe Geno's athleticism "Poetry in Motion". Geno was very serious most of the time and that's why he was so funny when he wasn't serious. Geno's heart and gentle soul will be long remembered,I was happy to call him my friend and to have known him. May his memory be long honored and cherished. Rest in peace Geno.

Having worked with Gene on several jobs as partners while working for Goebel Construction and snowmobiling a few times I had nothing but respect for Gene he was a hard worker and a great friend who will be missed by all who were lucky enough to all him a friend, Rest in peace Geno.
