To Mary, Luke and Will, I'm sorry for your loss. I did not know Dean well, but I recall having a nice conversation with him during his birthday party at NLRG years ago. He had an impressive career. My wife's parents enjoyed knowing him at Westminster Canterbury. I wish you the best in your time of sorrow.

Gene will be forever remembered for living in Northern Idaho, bring a "miners son," and all of his cousins and family. I only visited Mary and Gene once in NYC and was treated as though we were royalty. If anything Gene provided a path for me out of the mines, seeing his successes gave me hope to attend college and plans for a higher lifestyle. Another thing I admired about him was he never forgot his roots nor his family. He would often attend reunions and gatherings in Idaho or Utah . ...
