Not sure what to say?

I met Gene when he was 18. Always good natured, he had a way of using unconventional wording when sneaking-in one of his jokes; maybe a skill picked up from his Dad at the barbershop.

An exceptional man.

Hi Jeanie. I would just like to say how very sorry I am anout the passing of your Dad. I just learned about it tonight. He was a very caring and all around good guy. Me and my Grandfather used to come in there all the time. You and your family have my VERY DEEPEST SYMPATHIES. May your Dad REST IN PEACE. ~ Jason (Jay) Gallinoto.

My boyhood pal we did so many things together, the only thing I didn´t participate in with Gene was the pigeons, when I came home on leave from the Air Force Gene was the first person I would hook up with to get the local news. RIP Gene. Bill Angelo, Beaufort, South Carolina.

Sincerest sympathy to Gene's family and friends. Enjoyed talking to him during haircuts.

Jeanie so sorry for your the loss of your Dad and Rachel for your grandfather sending hugs and ❤

Wallingford has lost an absolute LEGEND. My prayers and sincerest condolences goes out to his family, friends, and lifelong customers of Ramettas Barbershop. Rest in heavenly peace Gene.

Jeannie I'm so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. We all know what its like the loose a loved one. Sincerely, Kathe (Ernie Cipolli's Aunt)

Gene was more than just a wonderful man he was a tradition. My dad, John Fortin was there every 3 weeks, no exceptions. When it was time for my son Johns first haircut my dad came with us while Gene started what would more years of tradition as my dad would take his grandson to the only man he trusted. For all the hours sitting in the waiting area and talking to this wonderful man, I want you to know how appreciated and loved he was. He will be truly missed and fondly remembered.

So sorry about your dad Jeannie.. he was such a great man.
