Not sure what to say?

Thinking of Gene and of you and Jen. We were all blessed to have him in our lives. Keep on with the good work that you do and know that he is not forgotten. Hugs and special prayers for you as you relive these days.

Dear Pat and Jen,
I was very sorry to learn of Gene's passing. He was a very humble, kind human being and the world will miss his wisdom and wit. Be strong and carry on his good work as he would want you to do.
I wish that I could take you in my arms and hold you close so we could comfort each other. I value the time I was able to spend with both of you at U-Conn, at conferences, and in the peacefulness of our neighboring living quarters.
In sympathy,
Nancy Lashaway-Bokina

Dear Pat. It is with great sadness that I have just learned of Gene's passing. Although we lost touch over the past few years I recall his leadership and friendship during our mutual time on the UAlbany's East Campus. Gene was a special individual whose life touched so many of us.

Working closely with Gene at UAlbany's East Campus was a highlight of my career with the University. Pat, my sincerest sympathies. Gene was a great man.

I knew Gene through the UAlbany East Campus and BioConnex. He was a optimist and always willing to help small businesses launch/grow in the Capital Region.
My heartfelt condolences to Pat and the family.

I knew Gene professionally when he was at the UAlbany East Campus Incubator;he was always enthusiastic, optimistic, and forward looking. I remember his easy-going smile and great sense of humor. I extend my sympathy and condolences to his family and friends.

I enjoyed hearing about Gene and family through the many years of Christmas cards to my parents. My condolences to everyone who loved and cared for Gene.

Gene's love of the village has and will be missed. It was a pleasure to be a merchant with him as a costumer. He was willing to walk the talk . Buy local. God has a better village for you, and lots more miles for you to walk in the heavens.

My heartfelt sympathy to Pat and Jen. I worked with Gene through AUTM many years ago and it was a great privilege and honor to do so. It was last March, 2012 that we had the opportunity to meet again at the AUTM Annual Meeting at which Gene was honored by receiving the Bayh-Dole Award, and so well deserved. He will be truly missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
