Not sure what to say?

Eugene has passed nearly two years ago and I wish that I had talked with him more. He was a very good man. I pray for Eugene and I know that he is in a very good place, but I miss him.

Desiree: I wanted to share a poem with you about Dads as I am sure he was lots of these things to you and more. Dads: Mender of toys. Leader of boys. Changer of fuses. Kisser of bruises. Mover of couches. Soother of ouches. Pounder of nails. Teller of tales. Hanger of screens. Counselor of teens. Fixer of bikes. Chastizer of tykes. Raker of leaves. Cleaner of eaves. Dryer of dishes. Fulfiller of wishes.

My deepest sympathy.
Cousin: Cindy Hunt

All of us here at Saint Anselm College were saddened to hear of Eugene's sudden passing. Eugene and his family are in our prayers at the monastery and his name will be read at the monastic community's Mass each day this week. As a classmate of his and a fellow Mainer, I will offer a special Mass for him.
God bless you,
Fr. John Raymond Fortin, O.S.B.

Desiree and Jill,
I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Gene. He was one of the nicest people ever. I will always remember our college years at St. Anselm's and our times in Houlton. I will greatly miss him.

Dearest Desiree and family; I am so, so sorry to hear of your loss. No words can adequately express what you are feeling and going through right now. All I can do is to send you my love and heartfelt prayers and to remind you that we all care about you and the boys here in Vegas, as well as your entire family. If ever you need me, please call me, for whatever, I know full heartedly what you are going through right now. You can reach me at 1-702-631-6610. God Bless You all; Susan Webber Spaulding

Maggie I am so sorry to hear about Gene, I know how much you loved him. You have a great loss, but you have your memories how he used to bring you coffee at curves so he could see you, and the boat ride we all took. he will be missed . Love Lois and Roger Rome, Maine

Though we mourn this loss let's all be thankful for the time Gene was here and the influence he had on each of us and freindship we were able to share with him. Desi, if you need anything you have my number.

Uncle Al, the kiddies pal.

To all of Gene's family....our deepest sympathies....sorry we could not attend the meal @ Hafford's today to speak with more of you. What a wonderful eulogy!! You will all want to keep a copy of it because it was one of the most touching, lovely eulogies I have heard and believe me know. We have unfortunately had to attend several funerals for loved ones in the last couple years. As was said, this IS a bump in the road and now you need to move on with your lives because there is still so...

Dear Celia,
My deepest sympathy and prayers to you and your family over the sudden loss of your beloved brother Gene. This is a very difficult time for you your family. May God's grace comfort you and your family during these days of sorrow and loss.

God bless you,
Fran Crespi
