Not sure what to say?

We remember she and Dr. Whayne with such fond memories. They would come to Azur Restaurant every Sunday night. BErnie and I are owners of Azur and had such pleasant conversations with these delightful folks. We will remember them always and send our love and prayers to the family. We have likely met a few of you along the way. They touched lives -- you should be proud.

Dear Kathy, your mom with her sparkle and smile will be missed by all of us, but especially you and your brothers and the grandchildren. I remember the Southern Jr. High days with the Whayne family and your mom´s support. You always were a hard working but fun student in class. I saw Genie a few years ago at a neighborhood gathering after she moved. Her sparkle and laugh still radiated. Lucky for all of you to have her in your lives.

When we were hide-and-seek age, we always went to Genie's back yard to play. Later, for dance parties, we were always invited to Genie's basement to rock-and-roll. Through the decades we were close and dear friends. Sweet Genie, may you be arranging a get-together in Heaven!

Sending my condolences to the entire family.

Eighty years of friendship with Genie. Shared adventures, a million laughs, some tears, and tons of fun. How lucky I was! I'll cherish those precious memories, and I will really miss You, Genie, dearest Old Pal and I'll never forget you. Judy Moore Cheney

My deepest condolences to the family. Ms Whayne will surely be missed. A few of my fondness memories will be of her and enjoying the Ky Wildcats basketball games, working the NYT´s daily wordle to name a few. She was not only one that I had the pleasure of being a caretaker of, she became someone very special.
