Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to learn of Evan's passing. I was only 20 years old when I came to the company and I called Evan "Mr. Bender." He was always very nice to me and I remember him attending my wedding reception almost 24 years ago. My friend, Geneva, who worked for him always spoke very highly of him also. I see my cousin, Gary Fisher, also posted on this board and knew him well. It was easy to become a friend of Evan. He had a big smile and heart. The last time I saw him was about 12 years ago at...

Our Hearts and Prayers are with you and your Family.

Dear Lily,
Len and I have been thinking of you and remembering you and your family in our prayers. We pray that God will give you strength and courage during this sad time. Please accept our deep sympathy and we hope that the happy times you shared with Evan will help ease the pain.

Dear Lily- We were quite surprised to hear of Evan's passing on. We said "hello" just a few weeks ago at Westfield. When I first met him at Bath Church I thought he was such a handsome man and had that precious genteel quality that some men have. The two of you complimented each other so beautifully. My the Lord be your strength and comfort and may He fill the void. Love in Christ, Mary

We are very sorry to read of the death of our cousin. Evan's father, Milt was one of five brothers and four sisters. Evan's grandsons are the only boys to carry on that Bender name. We hope that they know of their importance to the Bender name.

My prayers are with the whole family. Your dad was like a second father to me, growing up with Yonnie in Copley. There are very found memories.

I will always have fond memories of the OHIO STATE BUCKEYE trips/parties with Evan, Lily, Ron and Jenise. Evan always made people feel good about themselves. Thank you for the pleasent memories. Gary

We will really miss you Evan. Always a joy to be around even in pressure situations. Will never forget and will miss our B Team outings with the Colonel. Maybe when I join you I can finally become a member of the B Team.
