Not sure what to say?

My family and I offer our condolences on the passing of Mr. Bailey. I only recently learned of his passing from my Mother, who asked that I print his obituary for her. Mr. Bailey and my late Father served together on the USS Brownson and I recall that they kept in touch through the years. May he rest in peace!

Everett was such a kind soul. Just by chance we sat together in church on Oct. 31st and had a good conversation about our church in Yalesville. He was a beloved member of our church community and will be greatly missed.

Hello My name is Ellen and I knew your dad from the Wallingford dog park. Your mom baked me cookies one time. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. I called him Mr Bailey and he would correct me saying, Everett. He'd bring his dog to the park and we'd have long conversations. Miss you Mr Bailey nice to have know you.

We lost a class act, a funny man, and a warm, wonderful human being.

Thank you for the time we did share down at the dog park. You were a very dear friend to me and many others.

We will think of you often going forward.
Rest in peace, Sailor

We' ll miss sitting on your porch and talking to you pretty much about everything. You were like a father to us, the most caring, loving human being, who loved everyone and most of all loved God. But God loved you too and now your beautiful soul is next to Him in the Haven.Out of respect, I personally called him Mr. Bailey because he was an exceptionaly kind hearted man. You had to know him to understand his jokes. He never asked for help, but he would help you and give you his shirt...

Everett was part of my daily life at the dog park, with sweet pumpkin. We enjoyed many wonderful conversations about life, religion, memories of days gone by. BUT, he has meant much, much more to me! My 2nd daddy, I hugged him, told him I loved him, he had such a sense of humor, great stories, and truly loved me ALMOST as much as I continue to love him to eternity and beyond . My dearest friend, I DO love you to infinity and beyond, I know you know that, UNTIL we meet again kind sir,...

He will be very much missed at the dog park.

Jim and I are so saddened by Ed’s passing. We will miss him driving up and down the street and stopping to say hello. When we asked him how he was, he always responded “swell, I’ll tell ya, just swell!” Our deepest condolences to his entire family. We are going to miss him.

4/26/21 Lorraine's Birthday

Ed was a great friend and neighbor. He always greeted us with a smile and when asked how he was doing, would reply "I'm swell, I tell you, I'm swell!" He was always willing to lend anything he had to anyone in need. A terrific gentleman who will be deeply missed. Our deepest sympathies to Lorraine and family. Love, Carolyn & Paul Gaffney
