Not sure what to say?

It's hard to believe 13 years have passed. I could never than Mitch enough for all the genealogy info he gave me and just friendly messages we exchanged. He is certainly not forgotten.

For anyone who would like to consult Mitch's genealogy work, here is a URL to an archive where it is still available online (this is for the Prettyman family of Delmarva).

You can also access his "Tennessee Home Page"

and from there open links to all his public files.

Hi Mitch, I know you are looking down on all of us - your cousins and we have missed you a great deal. I will never forget the times we would meet at that little restuarant in Smithville to talk about family. Your help in sorting out my Trapp family lines from Tennessee was a true blessing. Just want to say Happy Birthday to a most fantastic cousin. Yea, I know I'm a week late but we both share that same wonderful closeness of family. Hope your children are doing well, I have not been...

Sorry to hear of his passing. My Civil War ancestor Matthias Judd-served with his. Loved the web site!

I would like to express my sympathy at the passing of Mr. Jones. I am descended from the same William A. Jones as he was. I have a copy of the Jones Family in America and it has provided great help in tracing my Jones family through Delaware and Georgia. I am sorry at the passing of such a great man, historian and author.

Sincerely, Patricia Corbell Gonzalez

Mitch is missed by so many of us. He helped me with his Trapp line and I supplied him some Jones material. I hope his children are doing OK now. They were in a bad spot after his death. May God's blessing be with them now and always. There cousin, Bob Trapp

I realize it has been many years since cousin Mitch's passing; his genealogy site inspired me in 2013 and I am wondering if it has been moved or simply disappeared? My sincere condolences even belated to his family.
