Not sure what to say?

In
all the flurry the weekend of Roy's death, I forgot to sign the online guest book - I'm glad it is still up, so I may post this note:

One of Georgia's tallest trees has fallen. People all across the state
owe so very much to this great legislator and public servant who helped build the Georgia of today. That office on the 4th floor at the Capitol will always be Lambert's to me.

One of the highest honors in my life was to have Ezekiel Roy as a true friend; we will all...

Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Mr. Roy. He was a true Southern gentleman, and I shall always remember his many kindnesses to me during my years at the Capitol.

Sincerely,

Dear Chris Lambert and family,
The Legionnaires of Calvin George, Post 37 of the American Legion sends our deepest sympathy in the death of Roy Lambert. He will greatly be missed. He was a very special man. Our prayers are with you'll.

My admiration and respect for Mr. Lambert goes way beyond anything I can put on paper. He was truly a southern gentleman and I am honored to have been associated with him.

I just heard about Roy's death. He was an asset to Madison, Morgan County and the state of Georgia. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with your family.

Dear Chris & Family,
Jean and I were saddened to hear of Roy's passing. This loss will be felt by all who knew him. Our friendship goes back over 50 years and he was a wonderful mentor to me.
