Not sure what to say?

Dearest Auntie Nazan, Mustafa, Noor and Ahmed and Uncle Fakhir,

There are no words that can begin to console us. Time has passed since the Uncle Fakhir's sudden death but I know that the pain, the shock and loss is still so devastating and so poignant.

I will always remember my uncle with such love and admiration. He was always the first one up, the most energetic and the one who would dance the night away...
I know life has taken an unexpected turn, but I feel that...

In our minds and hearts your still with us. We so miss you. Nadia Diab

Dearest Fahir,

Words cannot express how much we miss your beautiful smile, your warmth, your unfailing friendship.

We think of you so very often and talk about the times when we were together, which of course evokes in us many smiles as well as tears. You were a true friend in every sense of the word, one that could always be depended on if ever the need arose -- a gentle giant, a man of great character.

There is and always will be a deep void in our...

Dear Fahir,
It was so difficult to accept your absence, especially on your birthday. Tunca and I missed you so much. You have created big void in our lives. You are always in my prayers. I often remember foundly our discusions, when every body would be talking at the other end, you and I would go in deeper philosophical discussions at this end and I would feel so blessed having a friend like you. You will always missed so deeply, sleep in peace.

Dear Kirdar's,
Once more we are reminded, what a good friend we have lost
But what we miss his gentelness most
He was not only a friend, but a great dost.

My Dear Brother Fahir:
Your untimely departure not only shocked everyone and left big void among our family unity but also deprived us to celebrate your 70th year of birthday as your family hope to do. I vividly remember your black-tie 60th birthday party which I had opportunity to participate by coming from Arizona for the occasion. You were not only star at that day with your big familiar smile and energetic activities but also you...

Dearest Nazan, Mustafa, Noor and Ahmed,

Yesterday, on what would have been his seventieth birthday, and everyday, we continue to feel the terrible emptiness of Fahir's absence. But we are so very grateful for having known him, and the privilege to have been his friends. We will always hold dear his warm friendship, his grace and his enormous love for his family and country.

Dearest Fahir,
We, the boys from Waziriyah, remember you as a good and loyal friend. You shall always remain close to us, in our hearts and minds, where ever you may be.
Haldun Abdullah

OUR DEAREST FAHIR:

WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU AND THE BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES YOU LEFT US WITH.
