I grew up next door to Felipe's parents in Artesia, my lifetime best friend/"sister" being Sally Cortez. I will forever be indebted to this family for their beautiful examples, love, and attention during my childhood years - I always thought of Felipe like a "brother". May he rest in peace and may all his family be comforted in knowing that he is in God's arms now and free of pain. Love you all . . .

We were saddened to hear the passing of Felipe. When I heard, his smile was the first thing that came to mind, along with his curly hair. He helped me when I was preparing to become a bride. Our sincere condolences for the loss of a father and brother. Our prayers and thoughts are with the Cortez family. We are sorry we are unable to attend the services, but we will say a rosary and schedule a mass for Felipe at the St. Augustine Cathedral in Tucson.
