Not sure what to say?

Fern Wisner was a very gifted photographer. I remember the first time I visited the Bagel Bin in Columbia. Her portraits covered the walls, and I was stunned by the way the people in those pictures came to life and seized me with curiosity about the life of each person portrayed, and about the relationships among the people featured. I decided shortly thereafter that I wanted my own family to be photographed by her, and having made that known, my wife took my kids to a secret photo shoot with...

Ari and family, our sincere condolences to you. We think of Fern as a beautiful person, inside and out. Our home is filled with her photos -- pictures that have kept some of our happiest memories alive -- photos of our kids as infants and children, photos of our parents, siblings, nieces, Bar/Bat mitzvah. We see our family together in the tree in your backyard every day! We are very sad to lose Fern. Jeri Shuster and Bruce Rosenblum

My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you mourn this tremendous loss. May God provide comfort and ease your sorrow through the power of prayer. Matthew 21:22

RIP Fern. You will be missed.

My heart goes out to the family. Fern was a friend and pier. I am heartbroken for anyone who knew her. She helped make this world a better place one photo at a time. Love and prayers to all of you.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of Fern. I only remember sharing a handful of memories with Fern, but I do remember her always bringing a sense of adventure and compassion to any occasion. As a child, I was amazed by her photography skills and she was always happy to share that with me. I would always be excited to here the Eisner's were in town, even if it meant I got to see a little less of David that week.
With love and fond memories, Travis Rupp

We will miss Fern in the deepest manner. She was one of the original Ladies of the Morning at the Swim Center, and she was a friend. I am grateful to have evidence of her talent through the recent photos she and Ari took for Charles' and my 50th wedding anniversary.

May the God of all comfort give you strength and peace through this difficult time.

I saw Fern almost every day for many years at the Columbia Swim Center and also at the Columbia Athletic Club, and at social events with other swimmers. She was so very sweet, interesting, brilliant, funny, kind and down to earth. I don't think there was a single time I saw her that she didn't have something extremely nice to say to me. She always brightened my day. I also loved seeing her beautiful photographs at the Bagel Bin and Athletic Club. I was always proud to say, "I know the woman...

I did not know Fern Eisner. I am so sorry the opportunity did not present itself so I could.
But I did have the opportunity to go to her memorial service today and it was an honor and a privilege.
As odd as it may sound, it was rather serendipitous to be at such a sad event yet to have had the pleasure to be a witness, which by all accounts, was a remarkable life.
As I listened to her friends, family and community eulogize her I was struck by how articulately these people were...
