Fern Epler

I had the privilege of being one of Fern's caregivers during the last few months of her life. I know she was a markable woman in her youth and reached accomplishments unheard for women in her generation. I came to know Fern after she was stricken with Alzheimers and became a very different person. And yet in the change of her thinking pattern some things remained constant: her devotion to her family, her sense of humor and her genuine nicess - she always appreciated things that we did for...

Fern was a good neighbor and friend to my mother. She was quite a quilt maker, and I will always remember her having a good joke, and good advice. God Bless her.
