Flo O. England
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Flo O. England, 90, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born on December 19, 1922, in Osgood, Ind., to the late Asa and Ollie Lowe Cornelius. She married Donald E. England, Sr., on April 10, 1948, at the Kings Highway Baptist Church in St. Charles, Mo., and he preceded her in death on June 25, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Carl, Russell and Si, and sisters Marie Vanosdol, Mae VanOsdol and Velta Jackson.
Flo was raised in Carlinville and after marriage, lived in Alton, Chesterfield, Chatham and Jerome. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved playing pinochle, drinking coffee with friends, and spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Jo Ann Stone of Chatham; son, Donald (Lynda) England, Jr., of Chatham, grandchildren, Markey L. (Ryan) Motsinger of Oklahoma City, Okla., Kimberly A. Edwards of Edwardsville, Kristin M. (Tony) Cogan of Springfield, and Donald Bryan (Becky) England of Springfield; great-grandchildren, Eliana, Breana, Abigail Motsinger, Merrick Edwards, Elliott, Jackson and Liam Cogan; nieces Patricia Jackson and Shirley Jones; and nephew, Jim Cornelius.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, 8855 State Route 4, Chatham.
Funeral Ceremony: 10 a.m., Thursday, December 19, at Staab Polk Memorial Home, Chatham. Burial will follow at Hettick Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Flo's passing. I work at Hardees and she would always come in every morning for coffee and a biscuit. We always liked to discuss "Dancing With The Stars" together. She always brightened my day when she came in. She will be greatly missed.
