I knew Forrest since I bought a boat in 1989. It was a 680t. His daughter Rhonda was such a sweetheart in titling my trailer. The whole family was so welcoming. Jesus gained an angel. What a man to praise the Spirit of Jesus. God Bless you my friend. I will never forget you.

I got the pleasure of meeting Mr Wood years ago at at fishing tournament, what a thrill as a young man ,I always dreamed about owning a Ranger boat , I finally did so , I started out in and old 175 A I was so proud of it , later I had a 350 vee that I bought from Dr Jim Culp in Tulsa , then the last one was a brand new 482 , all of these boats was awesome , The people of Arkansas was so blessed to have man like Mr Forrest , as they say they don't make em Ike that any more , God Bless all...

I first met Forrest when I returned from Vietnam in 1970. It was at Tom Mann's fishing tournament in Eufaula, Alabama. He touched my heart just from saying thank you for serving our country. He was a very honorable man who also loved his country.It was really rough on me upon my return and he help lead me into fishing. Forrest provided me with a Red/White and Blue boat which I got put on the cover of MBAA magazine. When I got orders to go to Japan I through I would never get another boat from...

Mr.Forrest will truly be missed by many.My prayers for Ms.Nina and family to find comfort in knowing he made so many lives better in so many ways.This town has lost a great man

Our sons worked for Mr Wood at his ranch in Flippin. He taught them so many invaluable lessons through his character and work ethic. It was worth more than any college education.

I met Mr. Wood a couple of years ago at the Walmart in Flippin. Being new to the area I had heard a lot about Forrest. I approached him and introduced myself to him. We exchanged pleasantries and I told him that I worked for Ranger and that it was an honor to meet him. He ask me where and I told him. He made a joke about all the parts that go on the boats.
