To Frances's family, love ones, and friends. Frances and I were freshman roommates in Kennedy Hall at Hampton Institute (University). The year was 1963, and I remember so clearly when we met for the first time. I recently read a letter from Fran during the summer of 1964, as I have kept many letters from classmates and friends over the years. I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing. My sister and best friend , Fran, will remain in my heart forever! God has received an Angel who was faithful, compassionate and loving. Her sweet spirit and gracious manner will be missed. I am Blessed to have enjoyed many wonderful years with my beautiful sister! My heart is broken but I believe she is resting in the arms of the Lord.

Sincere sympathy to Frances' family. We were in high school together, one of my closest friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
