Frances C. Nugent

Our Aunt Frances was always a great inspiration to me and my sisters during her wonderful life. Since we never knew our father, Joe Campbell, her brother, who was killed in a Naval air accident in 1952, Frances served as our true connection to him, hosting us on great tours of Richmond, searching for Robert E. Lee and Edgar Allen Poe, and then visiting us in California and wherever else we ended up.

My aunt Frances was a sweet, kind, caring and generous person devoted to family and friends. She was there for every important occasion in my life while I was growing up. She was fortunate to have been married to three wonderful men whom she cared for during their final illnesses. She also cared for her mother during her final illness.
She was a successful woman in business and was Secretary of the corporation Morton Thalhimer where she worked her entire career.
