My sweet friend, Frances, is gone from this life but she will never be forgotten. For the past four years she and I spent almost every Sunday together driving to lunch in Jefferson, Marshall and elsewhere and spending the afternoon at her house talking about everything imaginable. Even at the age of 95 she remained animated, interesting, interested and informed.
