Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Francis's passing . She was my mom's cousin (Betty Boures Caria) .I so enjoyed visiting with her years ago in Spokane, Washington, and New Jersey. She was a very special person. I will always remember our time together. My condolences to her family.

So sorry to hear of Frances's passing. She was my mom's cousin (Dorothy Boures Ramey). So enjoyed her when she would visit the Spokane, Washington, area. I was also very lucky to stay with at her home in Lexington years ago when I came to Kentucky to go to my niece, Jennie Ramey's college graduation. It happened to be Derby time and Frances hosted a dinner that was amazing. She was a very special person and will always be remembered fondly.

We were sorry to hear about the passing of dear Frances Stefanis. She was the cousin of my mother, Dorothy Ramey (Boures). My family and I had the pleasure of meeting her for the first time, and staying with her in Lexington about 18 years ago. What a treat to stay with her, and hear all the stories about my grandfather, who was her uncle Nick. I was only 9 months old when he passed, so I didn't know him. It was such a joy to hear all the fabulous stories Frances shared about my grandfather...

So sorry for your loss. She was an amazing cook! I enjoyed using her recipes when I was food writer at the Herald-Leader.

Dr. Stefanis my deepest sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your sweet mother. My prayers are with you at this time. Elaine C. Jones

Dr. Stefanis We're so sorry for your loss. God's promise to us that we will see our love ones again. Thank you for all you do for others, your mother deserves a lot of credit for also caring for others and fighting the good fight. Psalms 116: 15. Precious in the sight of the lord is the death of his saints.

So many of my favorite childhood memories are at Aunt Frances's house - playing in her garden and coming to the kitchen to eat the fruits or vegetables we picked (plus some cookies or pastries of course). We also played "school" in her basement and taught her questionable English words and phrases. We even put her through the paces of gym class! She was such a good sport and so loving to me, Liza and Foster. Aunt Frances has given so much to me and countless others and I will cherish her...

I am very sorry for your loss and offer my sincere condolences to your family. Mrs. Frances was incredibly kind, loving and thoughtful and the best neighbor anyone could ever wish for. I will cherish the memories of her generosity in making delicious treats for Easter and giving cooking lessons. She was an amazing woman who made everyone feel special and she will be missed.
