82 and holding

Francis and I grew up, living about 6 miles apart. We went to High-school together. We had a dance band together and spent many happy occasions together. Yes, we have lost a very dear person. The Francis you knew now was the same Francis 60+ years ago. Sad to say his only brother died about a month ago and now there is just Ellie, also a dear sister. Over the past years, we lived hundreds of miles apart yet the fond friendship never died. Sadly as the Psalmist said at Psalms 90:9 "We have...

We wish to express our concern and our sympathy and wish the whole family for the way without your beloved father and grandfather lot of energy and a lot of good thoughts. We will remember Frank by the time together in good memory. Doreen and Stefan Dethlefs, Germany

I am so sorry for your loss. I can remember when he started at Hill Murray and the very first band I ever saw there had maybe a dozen people. And he wrote the school fight song!!!
Well done my faithful servant! No one could have done it any better.
Fond memories and prayers to the family during this difficult time.

To Peggy and Family,
Your father will always hold a special place in my heart. He was so much more than a teacher to me. I have never met a more genuine, caring, and giving man. May you find peace in this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you

My siblings and I had Mr. Asenbrenner for Band at Humboldt High School in the 60's. He was the first teacher to arrive in the morning and the last teacher to leave in the afternoon. He provided individual lessons for all band students from 7th to 12th grade. During football season he took the band to every football game and masterminded multiple band halftime shows each season. I got to sit near him during the games and learned all my game rules from him. He was responsible for most of...

Dear Sue and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was such a great dad and I have so many great memories of him. I mostly remember him taking us to the hockey games; tagging along with the band. He was a generous and loving man and he will be missed. My thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Dear Asenbrenner Family,
Our condolences to you all. Know you will miss your Dad and Grandpa.
Our family has always looked up to Mr A from St Agnes days 1959, through the 80's with our three children, Don, Sara and Bob at Hill Murray. He has been God's faithful servant and we know where he is now.

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad passing. What wonderful tributes to him! I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Sincerely, Barb Polakiewicz
