Not sure what to say?

such a sweet man he spent so much time with his patients my mom loved him rip

Debbie and I miss you and think of you often .

I'm saddened to hear of Dr. Bains passing. I moved to Goochland in the late 90's and shorty later met Dr Bain . A great physician very caring and just a great person. We often laughed we both were looking at the same property at the same time and later on I developed a great trusting over time visiting with Dr Bain as my health care provider. JW

I was searching down memory lane when I ran across this obituary. My very first job straight out of high school was at Goochland Medical Center. I had the honors of working with Dr. Bain and thought so much of him. My condolences to the family for your loss.

I was so upset to hear Dr. Bain had passed away. He was my doctor in Goochland for about 40 years. He was so kind to me and really supported my endeavors as a professional musician and always helped me if I had a slight cold or anything to do with my throat.. understanding that my voice was my job. He always asked about my family and I loved how he just spent time with me which is rare in doctors these days. It broke my heart when the practice closed down suddenly and I kept wondering what...

Am so sorry to hear of Dr brains passing. I was one of his patients from beginning to end of his practice. Have many fond memories of his quiet jokes and quips thru the yrs. He could make you smile and think sometimes....one about glass being half full. He saw me through some of life's hard times as well as my best. I miss him

Frank and I were co-residents during our training and bunked together during our first years. The memories of those years will last forever and his presence is a personal loss. I enjoyed our conflict as he was a Hoo and I was a Hokie and our dominance on the football field was a frequent topic of discussion. He was a dear friend. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

So sorry to hear this, Dr Bains was my Doctor for many years, I was heart broken when he retired . We are the same age he was a wonderful friend and Doctor.

Dr. Bain was one-of-a-kind. He was one of the most intelligent, worldly, interested and interesting men I have ever had the pleasure to know. Once in his examining room, you had his full attention...not only for the reason you were there for, but also for laughter and sharing of stories. My family were patients of his for as long as we've been in the county(35 years), and there will never be another doctor able or caring enough to replace him. Sending much love and light to the good...
