Francis Andrew Bartek MD

Not only a good friend but a great doctor. I will never forget how he would ask me continually in the parking lot of the Carek building when I was going to get pregnant so he could deliver my baby. Oh and my final response to him that I think even made him blush. I could not have asked for a better doctor to deliver our son and make sure we both made it through a very difficult pregnancy. Fran know you are in my thoughts and prayers often. Thank you for all the laughs we shared together....

Just found this sad news out... But it made me smile to think when he was delivering my first daughter and I told him her name was going to be Frances Ann, he thought I was naming her after him!!!!

IN 1975 DR BARTEK SAVED MY LIFE FROM COMPLICATIONS DUE TO CHILDBIRTH. CAN NOT THANK HIM ENOUGH

So disturbed to find this out today. You will never find another Dr more dedicated to his patients and medicine. I have two children n several nieces n nephews because of this man and his wonderful skills and knowledge. My heart goes out to his family.
The world of Medicine and Ob will never be the same. Thank you Dr. Bartek for all you did for my family and children.
