Francis Eugene "Beanie" Beard

Forgive my lateness, but I just found out Mr. Beard had passed. I was quite the wild child, but Mr. Beard was always, ALWAYS very kind and accepting of me. I still remember the time there were putting in a new cement driveway on the west side of Etna Rd. I attempted to write in it, but Mr. Beard caught me and taught me a respect for all workers that I remember to this day. He was a very nice man and I adored him very much. I'm sorry to learn about Mr. Beard's passing. I knew him as a coach & teacher at Hamilton Township class of 1956.

I was so fortunate to set next to (Beans) May 18th, during my 50th re-union(class of '58).. you were a great athlete, teacher, and even better, a person....dave from Obetz
