Forgive my lateness, but I just found out Mr. Beard had passed. I was quite the wild child, but Mr. Beard was always, ALWAYS very kind and accepting of me. I still remember the time there were putting in a new cement driveway on the west side of Etna Rd. I attempted to write in it, but Mr. Beard caught me and taught me a respect for all workers that I remember to this day. He was a very nice man and I adored him very much. Now I have a son of my own and I so glad his principal is very much like Mr. Beard. Thank you and God Bless. You are in my heart and in my prayers.

I'm sorry to learn about Mr. Beard's passing. I knew him as a coach & teacher at Hamilton Township class of 1956.

Dear Beard Family,
There are no words to express our sorrow today. We'll always miss Uncle Beans and his always-cheerful banter.
