I played softball with Duffy for a long time. He was a good player and a good friend. I will miss him because he was so friendly.

Dear Patty and Mike,

Your Mom and Dad were some of the best people and best memories for me growing up.
I am so sorry that I couldn't attend the memorial services.
As others have written they are together again, how wonderful is that.

John Thomas

Duff was one of my very first patients who I saw first in Sacramento in 1989. He then followed me when I opened my Woodland practice and brought in his lovely wife Arlene and his friends and relatives. I looked up to him. He always cheered me up and I will miss him dearly.

I can only smile, because Duff and Arlene are together again. They will both be remembered for their kindness, warm hearts, and giving spirits.
My love to Duffy and Mike, Sara (Terhune) Richards

Grandpa, Thank you for all your wisdom and guidance you givin me over the years.... You and Grandma will be in my hart forever. And now you two are together in heaven, just as you were here... I hope I'm as lucky in love and life as you two were ... Love Always, Heather Marie Duffy

We are so sorry that we could not attend Duff's funeral. Do to my decent knee surgery I would be unable to walk or stand for much time at all. You're all in my hearts and prayers. Duff is now happy being with Arlene forever.

Duff and Arlene were two of the dearest people in mine and my daughter Taylor's lives. We shall remember them both fondly and often. Duff, I don't think I've ever met anyone more devoted to his spouse than you were. You were there for Arlene completely and lovingly and now you are both together again. Love Laura

Dear Patty, Michael and family,
In the last two months, Woodland has lost two of its most beloved citizens. Arlene and Duff were always so kind and friendly. The last time that I saw Arlene and Duff was at Applebee's. After a short conversation, Duff said, “Make sure to come on by the house sometime for a longer visit.”
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.
Love,
Wally Summ
