Not sure what to say?

I have so many memories of this fine man it would be hard to list. He filled my first cavity..and many more. Almost talked me into going to USC to be a dentist. Loved our boating years, took me on the USS New Jersey for a private tour. Always had a smile on his face. He truly earned his right to be part of mankind. Now God has a great dentist to take care of him as Frank did for so many while with us. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Dr.(LT) Frank Blair was a superb instructor in operative at USC. We all enjoyed his warmth and honesty. Later, while I was stationed aboard USS New Jersey (BB-62)..which was Dr. Blair's old ship, I had the pleasure to show him around. He will be missed. What a quality man! My Dad, George Clapp, passed away this time last year. It was nice to see his remaining buddies with whom he had grown up as a boy in Long Beach at his memorial, including Frank. My mother, Jane (Crotinger) Clapp, had dated Frank at one point.

As our home movies and pictures will attest, my parents had many wonderful and fun times at parties such as bridge and New Years with their close friends: Frank and Ruth Blair, Dave and Martha MacClagen, Walt and Carol Hooker, George and...

Our thoughts to the Blair family. I was lucky to be the Wilson Booster Club president in 1986 and 1987. Dr. Frank was always there with advice and assistance, His love of the kids and Wilson was wonderful. Thank you.......Keith and Babara Cordes Bend, OR

The staff of Alamitos Belmont would like to express our deepest condolences to the Blair family. Dr. Blair was always in good spirits despite his health issues and was always surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Blair came by our facility one year and played music to cheer up our residents. He even played some USC tunes. It was truly a pleasure to services such an accomplished, yet humble man at our facility. We will miss you Dr. Blair and your legacy you have behind will carry on forever.

I just remember when the Senior's graduated Dr. Blair and his wife always gifted everyone of them with a gold pen inscribed with their name.

He was a mainstay of Avlaon, playing the horn on the 4th of July from his balcony, and Christmas songs on days prior to Christmas and Christmas morn. He resolved a tooth ache for me one day when we were visiting on my Dad's boat, met us at his office, and took the x-rays, and filled it.

My deepest sympathy to his family, and...

Dr. Frank Blair was one of the warmest and gentle men I have known. His spirit of community will be missed along with the gentle sounds of his music floating over Avalon. Our prayers are with the family, Amen.

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Frank's passing.. My prayers and love go out to his family in this difficult time.. Avalon will not be the same with his love of it and his beautiful music that serranded us for many years.

I was treated br Dr. Blair when I was attending Wilson HS in 1958.I was looking at career choices. He gave me chalk to carve which applicants for dental school use to demonstrate manual dexterity.I was so impressed experiencing and observing his professionalism I became a dentist in 1965 and am still practicing.Thank you Dr.Blair for inspiring me in my chosen career.
