Not sure what to say?

Just learned about Frank's passing, and totally shocked and saddened. A true rock star - in so many ways - is gone, far too soon. If there were a lawyer's Walk of Fame, Frank's star would be on it, sparkling like his wit. Heartfelt condolences from us to Debi and Frank's entire family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear this and will keep the Carmel family in my prayers. He was always kind to me and while our relationship was on the lighter level, he was always keeping me up to date on his family and children's lives and asking about mine all the same. He will be missed greatly.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of Frank Carmel. I was a frequent player of golf with Frank at Bethesda Country Club. I always looked forward top playing with him because of his easy going manner. Most importantly, we shared an interest in classical rock music. We could both sing the words of really obscure classics roach songs that no one in our groups knew, and we would then share a laugh. We also often talked our families, and he greatly loved you all. I will miss Frank greatly. May...

While working in NYC regulating timeshares I met Frank and also his family many years ago at ARDA and Land Council meetings. He was kind, funny, informative and sharing of his knowledge of the industry. He had a great sense of humor and, in advocating for his clients, was always knowledgeable, creative and hard working. He was also considerate and supportive of the attorneys who worked for him.
My condolences to his family and friends. I am sure he will be greatly missed.

I was so saddened to learn about Frank's passing. I admired him so much. We meet at an AARC conference many years ago and he was so gracious to me. He always extended an invitation to come and have lunch when I was in the area. It was so amazing he found time in his day to simply get together with someone and learn about them. I also thought it was so admirable that his professional career didn't define him as it does for many lawyers and he had so many other interests and talked about...

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God,family and friends. Please except my condolences.

Frank was my favorite uncle. I was his eldest nephew. From the time I was single digits, I realized that Frank was great with kids. I always had fun with him when he was around. He would tickle me, tell jokes, let me ride on his back. He even let me drive his car as a young kid while sitting in his lap. Having said that, I remember a time when Frank took Matt, Judd and me to a store. He had us wait in the car. So, we decided to play a joke on him by moving the car into a different...

Enjoyed many days of humor and friendship with Frank at the Golden Door. He truly was a unique individual in so many ways.

We were shocked so sadden to read about Frank's passing. We so enjoyed you and your family as neighbors on Clearwood Road for many years. Hard to believe that your wonderful children are all grown up and Mason is married! We are now in Virginia Beach. Our daughter was a teacher at Kecoughtan H.S. the year we arrived. Small world. Please know that we are thinking about all of you and send our sincere sympathy. The obituary was beautiful....a life well lived. Love Ruth and Dick
