Frank ChomkaCUMBERLAND - Frank Chomka, 91, passed away on January 28th.He is survived by his wife, Ina and six children. Frank was a WWII Navy D-Day Veteran. He worked at Vose Hardware in Woonsocket for over forty years.
Read MoreWhen I was in high school I worked for Frank at the hardware store. He was a good man to work for and gave me time off for football and track. I learned many years later that he had won the Silver Star on D-Day. Men of his generation, like my own father, were very quiet about such honors.
