Not sure what to say?

A fine doctor, a wonderful friend and an awesome tennis player. His daughter Jennifer was our baby sitter of choice. RIP.

Frank was the best tennis partner I ever had. He defined sportsmanship, Jennifer.

It is with great sadness that we have just learned of Frank's passing. It was an honor and privilege to have had the opportunity to have known and worked with Frank. I never tired of his NASCAR stories. I shall think of him as I last saw him before I left in April. Every day I look for him and expect to see him...sitting, reading his tablet and shouting a greeting as he sees me. Our condolences to Robbie and his family.

Frank and I served together in the Army Washington DC at Walter Reed as residents and subsequently worked both at EAMC and CNVAMC as medical staff members. I will miss him and the opportunity to work with such a highly professional colleague and friend. He will be missed by so many of us.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news. Frank was indeed a very special person in so many ways. He always had a positive attitude about life's problems. He was caring and compassionate physician. He was a good teacher and hundreds of students benefited from his guidance. He was an excellent golf player but his knowledge about this game was so impressive. We played together last time about 4 months ago. Even at this last stage of his disease, he was interested in life had his friends.
I will...

Dr. Ewald you will always be missed. I enjoyed working with you for what...15 - 20 years. Always in a great mood and kind and caring to all! You were my go to person for all the new technological gadgets. What great times we had in hovering over the latest Palmpilot or one of the new Apples. Thanks for caring for our Veterans. You were one special guy. Saddle Oxfords and all. Our sincerest condolences to your family. It was obvious how much you loved them.

So sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences.May God grant you peace and comfort in this time of grief.

Robbie, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will miss Frank dearly. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you during this time of sorrow. Irene

Robbie, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved him by the conversations we had. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you in this time....
