Mr. Jacinto was my 7th grade teacher and Principal at Turner School in the early 60s. He was a kind and gentle man with a great sense of humor. Fast forward many years to several years ago when I was Principal of Reese School. I worked with Mr. Jacinto's son, Keith, who was one of our teachers on staff. Mr. Jacinto would come into the office at Reese and make a special effort to visit with me. He was still a kind man and always had a funny story to tell me. Although he told me to start...
