I had the opportunity to work for Doc and Sue. I must say that he was one of a kind! He treated all of his employees as family. A few memories I have of Doc are as follows: He would be in the kitchen cookin up a big pot of his cabbage soup or his good ol chili. He would make sure to let us know that we had better get in there and get us a bowl. Normally on Fridays he would have lunch and anyone who walked through the door was offered something to eat! If you had the opportunity to meet...

Sue, sorry to hear about Doc. There was never a dull moment when he was around. The few trips we shared together will always remain a happy memory.

Doc. Iwill never forget you. Since 1956 when we would drag race our Cheves. you were a mentor to me. You have always been loved by everyone .My sympathy goes out to your family.Pierce

I was honored to have worked for Doc and Sue. Anyone who met Doc...automatically loved him! He was a good man who always had a story to tell. And he treated all of the A-1 crew as family. Doc was pretty darn good in tha kitchen too! He would cook us lunch quite often. Whether it was his awesome cabbage soup or a big ol pot of chilli...you could hear him say...."Get in there and get you a bowl". HAHAHAHA Remember when we were making all of those goodies in tha kitchen for the Christmas...

Carolyn,
Sorry to hear of your loss. I am thinking about you and your family. Celebrate his life-that's what he would of wanted!

Sue, I have great memories of Doc I'll always cherish. If I could tell him anything right now I would tell him shoot 100 and bet 100 on the point.
My prayers are with you and all the family.
R.I.P Doc.
