Frank Matthews

Several years before I met my current wife, she dated a professor at UHCL. He introduced her to Frank, a mathematics professor who was a close friend. She recognized Frank because he had been a graduate student at Ohio State where she was an undergraduate math major. Later, when we were dating, she told me this story because in her life she has had many coincidental connections. That led me to add a layer of coincidence by telling her about my freshman year at CalTech in the fall of 1959....
