Frank Patterson Obituary
Mr. Patterson was an active member of Central United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and family vacations. He had a long and successful career at IBM. He actively participated in Boy Scouts and enjoyed many years as a Sunday School Teacher.
Mr. Patterson is survived by sons, Kevin William Patterson (Laurie), Edward Frank Patterson (Angela), David Arthur Patterson (Julie), and John S. Patterson (Krista); grandchildren, Lara Tozzi, Charles Patterson, Maxwell Patterson, Katherine Patterson, Andrew Patterson (Jen), Frank Patterson, Lance Patterson (Amanda), Kenneth Patterson (Tara), Olivia Patterson, Gabrielle Patterson; great grandchildren, Lilliana Tozzi, Evan Patterson, Eva Patterson, and Morgan Patterson; brother, Bruce Patterson, and sister, Claudette Hatfield.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Jean Skelton Patterson; son, Charles "Chaz" Patterson; brothers, Bill Patterson, Fred Patterson, Lester Patterson, and Eugene Patterson, Howard Patterson, and Francis Patterson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Central United Methodist Church, 6030 Albemarle Rd, Charlotte, NC 28212 with a visitation held 30 minutes prior to the service.
Interment will immediately follow the service in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be sent to the Charlotte Rescue Mission at PO Box 33000, Charlotte, NC 28233.

I miss the summer picinic,s at uncle Freds with everybody swimming. Uncle Frank also showed my two girls how to bake a cake when my dad was sick.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.What I missed the most was Uncle Frank hopping in his green pickup driving all the way to ny getting Uncle Gene and going to my moms house for spagetti and meatballs,it made her feel so special.
