Frank Pokin

My father , Michel C. Vaes, my wife Nathalie and myself are sorry to hear of his passing. Frank and my father met at the university of Chicago in 1958 and remain friends ever since. I remember with emotion J&F s invitation to my wife and I in 1989 when I join myself the U of C. My parents met Joyce and Frank for the last time about 10 years ago in their house in st palais sur mer, France. Our thoughts are with them. Kind regards, Christophe vaes

Very sorry to hear that. Joyce and Frank Pokin ,are very nice people. Since we knew each other, they always considered and tried the very best to help me. As an international student, I felt very lonely in Chicago. Moody church, and people like them , are so nice to give us a lot of fun and help. In the meantime, they never calculated their investment, time and financial cost . Fortunately Mr. Frank Pokin and I became good friends from the first meeting in an event . He helped me on job...
