Frank G. Robertson

Frank, Mr. Robertson, was very kind to me when I was a student at Pleasant Valley Senior High. My father had recently died and I will always remember Mr Robertson for showing me how to be an empathetic, kind masculine figure. I will carry his kindness the rest of my life. I first met Frank when I went on the police dept here in Anderson and he was at Anderson High. I believe he was dean of boys then. Frank was one of the nicest men I have ever met. Always had a smile on his face and I believe the students really liked him. God bless his family in their loss.

I really enjoyed and respected Frank as a Counselor and Teacher when I was an AUHS student (class of '57). Better still, when he lived down by the Sacramento River in Anderson, he was surrounded by my aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Bauer family: Bauers, McNultys, Ulbergs, and Robertsons. What wonderful family gatherings there were back in those days.

It seems that Frank Robertson passed on his teaching and enlightening skills to his son Bob Robertson. I never met him myself but all I have read I recognize in his son as he welcomed me into the medical field, guided me and pushed me to reach for my dreams. He taught me to believe in myself. This sounds much like the man Frank Robertson you all have described.

Frank and my Dad worked together at PVHS. I have great memories of the time our families spent together. I remember him as a warm and caring man and am sad to hear of your loss.

I remember Mr. Robertson as Anderson High School Superintendent when I attended school there in the 1970s. He always seemed like a kind and influential man to me when I covered school-board meetings for the Anderson Valley Press in the early 1980s. My condolences go our to his family and loved ones at this trying time.
